This is an introductory course in chemistry designed for the college bound student.  Chemistry is a one of a kind subject where you will be learning a variety of chemical principles, symbols, & applying algebraic concepts.  Chemistry is part of our community.  By understanding the principles & by performing experiments, students will be able to experience what a chemist does & what chemistry is all about.


This is an introductory course in physics designed to learn the fundamental concepts including kinematics (velocity and acceleration), forces, momentum, circular motion, energy, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, & waves, sound and optics.  Students engage in a variety of learning activities including laboratory experiments, problem solving and report writing. This course prepares the student for college level physics.
